Meet the Team
Meagan Deppe
Founder, CEO
Meagan founded Kilos for Kofkin in 2016 with a single locally hosted powerlifting competition and went on to formally establish the organization as a nonprofit in 2020. Under her leadership, K4K has expanded its event portfolio year after year, evolving into a dynamic platform that blends athletic performance with mental health advocacy. As CEO, she leads the organization’s strategic partnerships, event development, and research initiatives.
She holds a BSBA in Entrepreneurship and Economics from High Point University and currently works in Finance for a leading cybersecurity and technology company in Florida.
Outside of her professional work, Meagan maintains an active lifestyle through weightlifting, triathlon, and hiking. Her recent accomplishments include completing her first full marathon and a 70.3 Ironman.
Driven by a commitment to reducing stigma around mental health, she continues to advance research and awareness on the powerful role exercise plays in supporting mental well‑being.
